Your day, your chart, your calendar.
Every figure here is computed from actual planetary positions for your date, time and place — the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the same basis a traditional panchang uses.
Daily Horoscope
Pick your rashi — your Moon sign in the Vedic system. It is not the same as the Western sun sign, and for most people the two differ, so work it out below rather than assuming.
Ask about your day
Answered from the same calculations as the rest of the site — worked out in your browser when you ask, with nothing sent anywhere. When it cannot compute an answer it says so rather than guessing.
The tone of each reading is set by Chandra Gochara — where today’s Moon actually stands relative to your rashi — together with the tithi and the weekday lord. Readings are offered for reflection and entertainment; they are not advice on health, money or law.
Your Year Ahead
A whole year for one rashi, computed rather than written: where the slow grahas actually stand relative to your Moon sign for every stretch of the year, and what all three hundred and sixty-five daily readings add up to when they are counted.
Timings for New Delhi — change the city under the daily reading.
The slow transits are judged by the classical gochara tables — the houses, counted from the janma rashi, in which each graha is held to give a favourable result. The day counts come from the same function that draws the daily reading, so any day listed here reads the same way when opened on the Daily Horoscope tab. Offered for reflection, not as advice on health, money or law.
Janma Kundli
Enter the date, clock time and place of birth. Accuracy of the time matters most for the Lagna, which moves through a full sign roughly every two hours.
Hindu Festival Calendar
Ten years back and ten years forward. Each date is derived from the lunar phase for the city you choose — intercalary adhika months are detected and skipped, and festivals fixed by Pradosh, Nishita or Aparahna are placed by those rules rather than by sunrise.
Regional traditions differ, and a few festivals are genuinely observed on different days in different parts of the country — Janmashtami and Diwali most of all. Where a choice exists this calendar follows the Smarta convention and the amanta lunar month used across most of India.
Kundli Matching — Ashtakoota Guna Milan
The classical eight-fold comparison, out of 36 points, worked out from each partner’s Moon nakshatra and Moon rashi. Mangal Dosha is checked on both charts alongside it.
Guna Milan is one input among several. A traditional astrologer reads both complete charts — the seventh house, its lord, Venus, Jupiter and the running dashas — before saying anything about a marriage. Treat a number out of 36 as a starting point for a conversation, never as a verdict on two people.
